Education truly serves as a cornerstone for societal progress and individual empowerment. By providing quality education, we’re not just imparting knowledge but also fostering self-sufficiency and confidence among individuals, which are essential attributes for personal and professional growth.
It is always learning that makes the society more refined and civilized. The quality of learning makes individuals of the society self-sufficient and self-confident. A strong idea and an ardent urge to contribute to social league took the shape of an Educational Society. This led to the establishment of various Educational Institutions with a wide spectrum of disciplines – with a sense of service to the society at large, Nascence of Prism occurred in 2001 to cater to the needs of Urban Aspirants. Our motto is quality education which empowers common individuals to raise to the level of employability and advancement. In this direction efforts have been made to raise optimum infrastructure and mobilize able, efficient and committed faculty.

Establishing Prism Degree and P.G. College in 2001, affiliated to Andhra University, was a significant step following the inception of DRK Reddy Education Society in 1999. The institution’s name, Prism, was chosen with the vision that students entering the college would be moulded into multi-dimensional personalities, capable of achieving esteemed stature.
To realize this vision, meticulous efforts are dedicated to provide all necessary inputs. Every detail is considered to create a conducive atmosphere through exemplary infrastructure. Qualified, experienced, and passionate faculty members impart academic instructions and also provide personalized care to the students.

In 2006, Prism introduced Postgraduate courses in Organic and Analytical Chemistry, recognizing the enduring importance of core scientific disciplines. With a steadfast commitment to provide ample infrastructure and a comprehensive instructional framework, Prism ensures an uncompromising educational experience.
Students who pass through the portals of Prism emerge well-groomed and equipped to navigate the world with confidence. A testament to this is the high rate of recruitment into esteemed pharmaceutical companies enjoyed by a majority of our graduates. Our aspiration is for our students to soar to great heights and bring honour to our college and their parents through their achievements.

In leading the Postgraduate courses, Dr. S. Srinivas Rao, Director of P.G. Studies, brings his wealth of academic expertise, while the undergraduate programs are overseen by Dr. Vidhya Rajagopalan. Together with a team of highly qualified and dedicated faculty, we tirelessly work towards fulfilling PRISM’s objectives of delving into the core of education.
